As noted, the first phase in OPWDD’s efforts to improve the delivery of services came in 2018, when it introduced Care Coordination Organizations (CCOs) across the state. The exact timeline for the State to launch SIPs-PL is not yet clear, however it is believed that individuals who are receiving OPWDD services may have the opportunity to enroll in a Managed Care Organization beginning in 2022.
